Students need to be able to :
1. describe and name prisms and pyramids by the shape of their base.
2. identify 2D shapes that compose 3D shapes by visualizing and looking at different nets.
3. compare and sort prisms and pyramids by geometric properties (number of faces, edges, vertices)
4. solve word problems involving 3D shapes and their geometric properties.
Students will be allowed to use concrete math manipulatives during this assessment.
Students are encouraged to review pages 62-73 of their blue math book.
