November newsletter

Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

 October passed by so quickly! Thank you so much for your ongoing support. We have had another successful month! Here are few updates in our class for the month of November.

Curriculum Corner:  

Math 
In Math, we’ve finished up our unit on Number Sense and we are beginning our Patterning unit. Please refer to the attached math newsletter.

Science
We continue to learn our unit about the forces we come across on a daily basis (muscular, magnetic, gravitational, etc.) and their effects, as well as how forces are used to improve our daily lives.

Language
In Literacy, we will be continuing sentences writing. We are working hard to apply everything we have learned so far about parts of speech and good sentences into our sentences.

In reading, we have started guided reading. We are focused on making connections and well supported predictions by using evidence from the text, picture and our prior knowledge.

Friday November 24, 2017 – No School (PA Day)/ Parent Teacher Interview (AM)
